Our boutique hotel is located near some key Antwerp landmarks; such as the Central Park which is located right on our door step. A short walk will bring you to some of the city's busiest districts such as De Meir for shopping. Just around the corner you will find the Central Station, the Diamond District and other popular tourist attractions.

The Leopold Hotel Antwerp is perfect for business and pleasure due to the our city centre location.

Getting to the Leopold Hotel

Antwerp Central Station

Our hotel is 1km (5 minutes walk) from Antwerp Centraal Station which offers excellent Thalys services across Belgium and onto major European cities including Paris and Amsterdam.

Taxis are available outside the station.

Walking From the Railway Station:

  • Outside the Central Railway Station, follow "De Keyserlei" (Shopping street).
  • Take a left at the first traffic lights onto "Quellinstraat"
  • At the next traffic lights, again take a left onto "Quinten Matsijslei" and in about a 100m you will see the Leopold Hotel on your leftside.

Antwerp Airport

Antwerp Airport is located 6km from the city centre. We recommend either taking a taxi (15 – 20 minutes, approx. €30) or catch Bus 14 to Rooseveltplein (near Antwerp Centraal railway station).

Brussels International Airport

Brussels Airport offers direct train connection from the Airport to Antwerp Centraal Station and back (travel time is only 34 minutes)! For the time schedule, click here and select from "Brussels Airport" to "Antwerp (Antwerpen) Centraal".

Amsterdam Schiphol Airport

A direct train service runs from Schiphol to Antwerp Central Station. We recommend taking one of the frequent intercity Amsterdam/Antwerp services as it is approximately 50% cheaper than the high-speed Thalys to Paris via Antwerp.

Parking

The Leopold has private parking in our private garage around the corner on "Lange Kievitstraat" (street name). To gain access you will need to collect a code from the reception of the hotel.

Car parking is charged at €19 per night. Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. In the event our car park is full it is possible to park in the surrounding streets but please note you will require a pay and display ticket until 10 pm.
